How to Read the Diagnostic Codes on the HB-1030 & HB-1430

Being able to accurately interpret the fault codes that may appear on your aerial equipment is critical to maintaining your machines and keeping operators safe. On HB-1030 and HB-1430 Hy-Brid Lifts, there is a diagnostic LED that will show a fault code if the machine is having an issue. To read the fault code out, squeeze the joystick handle and hold for 10 seconds. The LED will flash rapidly, pause, and then blink out the fault code. The lift in this example blinked 3-2, denoting a brake fault code. For additional fault codes, please refer to the maintenance and troubleshooting manual for your specific lift.
