HB-1430 Features & Benefits: Wheels

03/29/2018

The HB-1430 has a very unique steering system that places two wheels on each of the front axles. This design provides several benefits to both operators and project managers. The first benefit is that floor treatments, such as carpet, will not be bound when turning the machine. Even if the scissor lift is stationary and the wheels are turned, the front wheels counter rotate, preventing carpet or tile from marking or buckling. While this certainly makes work more efficient, it also minimizes the cost of rework if floor damage were to occur. An additional benefit of this design is that the weight of the lift, tools, and materials is spread out over a larger surface area, minimizing floor load concentration.
