5 Things to Know About Hy-Brid Lifts

12/28/2021

These aren't your traditional scissor lifts. You may be familiar with the other brands of aerial lifts, but you may not be aware of what makes our machines the ideal fit for your low-level access needs. We currently offer six scissor lifts in three categories: Push-Around Series, Pro Series, and Zero-Turn Series. Here are five things to know about Hy-Brid Lifts, and why you should add them to your next jobsite.

1. Lightweight

Our machines are the lightest lifts on the market, with all six models weighing under 2,000 lbs. Less weight means more units on the job, helping you get more done in less time. All Hy-Brid Lifts can navigate over sensitive floorings such as computer tiling, carpet, or vinyl without causing stress or damage. As lean construction becomes more and more popular across the industry, jobsite planners are pushing to complete projects more efficiently by reducing floor loads on sites to allow for more workers on the job. Our lifts are the perfect fit for this style of construction, bosting the lowest floor loads in the industry while outlifting the competition.

2. Heavy-Duty

You may think that a lightweight lift would be prone to frequent damage. You would be wrong. Our lifts may be lightweight, but they're built with the jobsite in mind, prepared for whatever may be thrown at them. Our machines are built with rigid construction to provide extra confidence while working at height and stand the test of time. From oversized scissor pins to stainless steel rollers, extra plating on the scissor stack and so much more, we're committed to ensuring our operators can work at height safely and confidently.

3. Unmatched Access

No other scissor lift on the market can match the maneuverability of Hy-Brid Lifts. That's not an opinion, that's a fact. Our machines feature proportional controls, putting the operator in total command and allowing precision movement around obstacles. All Hy-Brid Lifts can fit through standard doors and elevators without folding down the rails, saving you time and effort while on the job. The jobsite has enough challenges, don't add accessibility to the list. Hy-Brid Lifts are here to get workers where they need to be, when they need to be there.

4. Long-Lasting

There's a reason the very first lift we manufactured is still running strong 18 years after it was built: these machines are built to last. Hy-Brid Lifts are built to be as maintenance-free as possible. Our hydraulic fluid is rated for the life of the machine, and can be easily managed using our LeakGuard™ Fluid Containment System. Our batteries are also made to last the entire machine lifespan and can be upgraded from wet cells to AGM or lithium-ion for improved performance. A simple charge and battery watering should be all you need to do to keep our lifts up and running so workers can spend more time at height.

5. American-Made

It's no secret that thousands of American manufacturing jobs have been moved overseas, and the scissor lift industry is no exception. While our competitors source their labor on other continents, Hy-Brid LIfts is committed to providing employment opportunities in our local community. All of our lifts are manufactured and assembled in southeastern Wisconsin. It's our way of giving back to the community that has given so much to us.
