Recently, Hy-Brid Lifts was acquired by ASKO, a Turkish company that owns MST and ELS Lift. With this acquisition, we are tripling our product offering with more products on the horizon. All the new products will be under a new brand name: AXCS.
The AXCS branded products will expand our current scissor lift range along with entering new product categories: articulating booms, telehandlers, and vertical masts.
AXCS EL Series scissor lifts complement our current line of Pro Series scissor lifts by offering full-size electric drive scissor lifts that are capable of reaching taller heights of up to 51ft in working height. These lifts have a large working space allowing plenty of space to take up your materials and tools. These scissor lifts are outdoor rated and ready to handle any of your scissor lift needs with models EL-2632, EL-2645, EL-3245, EL-4045, and EL-4555.
AXCS VM Series vertical masts complement our Zero-Turn Series scissors by offering more equipment options that allow operation in tight, complex work areas. VM Series has two distinct model styles, a standard vertical mast and a vertical mast with jib. Both models feature a zero-degree turning radius and are compact to maneuver in complex areas. They also have up-and-over capabilities: the standard vertical mast utilizes its slide-out extension to reach tough locations while the vertical mast with jib utilizes its jib and turntable to reach virtually any area. The current two models are the VM-1230 and the VM-26J.
The AXCS product line will also introduce AB Series articulating booms and TH Series telehandlers. Articulating booms provide access to challenging worksites with lots of obstacles. Telehandlers are versatile machines that can complete many different job tasks. These additions will help make AXCS and Hy-Brid Lifts a one-stop shop for all your equipment needs.
Hy-Brid Lifts by Custom Equipment, LLC appoints Eric Liner as its new President and CEO, effective February 5, 2024. He succeeds Jay Sugar, who successfully led the company for the past three years. Liner is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of general management and executive experience in the access and material handling industry. “I am excited for the opportunity to lead Hy-Brid Lifts into the future. The new partnership with ASKO, and their family of brands, creates a tremendous opportunity. It immediately expands our access equipment portfolio, quickly positions us to enter the North American telehandler market, and provides additional workforce and financial resources as we continue to grow,” Liner said. “The new products will be brought to the North American market under a newly formed brand name, AXCS. I am looking forward to working alongside our strong veteran leadership team as we establish ourselves as one of the industry’s premier equipment manufacturers.”
